First off, I-640 is backed up for no apparent reason. I call the Doctor's office and let them know that I'll be late because I have to withdraw money. I do that and I notice that everyone is getting gas so I sneak in and get some before it jumps for some bullshit reason I'm sure.
Then I go back to the Doctor's office and they call me up and say, "Okay Charly. It's going to be $245." And then I go "WTF?" The Nurse-Practitioner said that they were going to test my resistance to sugar, do a blood panel and then test my thyroid. It's a good thing that I got $200 out of my savings instead of just the $100 like I was planning.
So we go back and she draws blood and then she has me drink this glucose drink. OMG! It was like drinking orange triaminic. It was like sugar water that was thoroughly saturated and then more sugar was somehow added to it. It burned going down in the end.
I'm there two hours because my blood is taken in intervals. Ugh. It's not really a pleasant test because I got sick to my stomach while waiting. I felt gross.
At the end of the testing, I'm told to make an appointment. OH GET THIS! It's going to cost me another $60 to get the results of this test back. The reason? They have to talk to me about it. I don't foresee me being there for more than thirty minutes and it's going to cost that much to just get my results?
I'm going to be so frakked if everything comes back negative. It's not in my head.
