That went well.

Yeah. That's me. That's what I decided to wear to the job fair. I did have the sleeves down though. You want to know why? You can see it in the picture but that red spot on my arm is a huge zit. I shake with my right hand but I did not want anyone seeing that monster on my arm. Eww.

I hate my camera. I hate my hair. I need it cut. I also need to invest in a pair of navy trousers.

I don't know how it went. I turned in my resume to ten different places. I wrote them down so I can send a follow up letter to them. I did ask a couple of questions. I tried to act energetic but that failed. I was, I felt, very pleasant.

I wasn't the best dressed there. LOL. I am never the best dressed person. However, I can say for sure that I was not the worst dressed there.

They scheduled it during classes so a lot of people walking around were just trying to get to class. However, if you are going to turn in a resume to a booth why would you wear flip-flops and shorts? Just... why? I saw a few people talking to some at the booths who could politely described as unkempt. But seriously? Why?

There were a lot of people there, more than just went to class that day. I'm glad that I got there when I did. I had to walk a quarter-mile but at least I found a spot.

In other news, I'm still cramping and I feel like crap. I think I could lay in bed for a few hours if I tried.

Job Fair. Yay.
(ME!) i'm so happy

I'm off to a job fair at Pellissippi. Yay. D:

I look okay. I have a basic-entry level resume, several of them. I have a plain black folder to keep them in as well as a sheet of paper to make a list of who I talk to. (It's for an extra credit assignment in Principles of Management.)

I just don't want to go. I do not feel well. I feel dirty, gross, and just plain exhausted.

Wish me luck!

THUD! THUD! THUD!

"No! Don't go into her room!"

BAM!

THUD! THUD! THUD!

*insert the babbling of a two-year old*

>_< "Hello Grant."

In other news, I finally got my financial aid money. This means that I can go the the doctor's office to get a refill on my medicine. I shouldn't have to pay sixty bucks for a refill but that's a topic for another journal entry.

Also. I'm going to bite the bullet and apply at Wal-Mart and Krogers. I really don't want to work there. It's Wal-Mart and grocery stores are at the bottom end of pay as far as retail goes. Hello minimum wage.

"Why do you want to work here?"

Ugh. I hate that question.

"I don't really want to work here. Wal-Mart is known for treating people like crap but you are hiring and I need a job."

That response may be honest but it is so the wrong thing to say.
