I just failed my first test in Principles of Management. I got a 60.48 out of a 110 possible points. If I hadn't aced the bonus question it would have been a 50.48. Yeah.

I read. I studied. I reread right before the test. I paid attention in class.

Meh. It's my own fault I know but I feel as though in this class it's just not sinking in.

Also, Mister Crowe, please. No one is Pro-Abortion. It's choice, dude. Choice.

Which is a laughable concept but this is pretend time folks for my Intro to Photoshop class. So let's push away reality for a few minutes.

In my Intro to Photoshop class we have to make a flier for our Photography business as part of our final project. That's not a problem because I'll just use my D*Con photos.

I just need a slogan that incorporates that geekiness.

So there's a dude in my Intro to Photoshop class and he's a young dude. Anyway, today he's wearing an Iron Man shirt and Iron Man is holding Captain America's shield that's riddled with bullet holes. So, so, so wrong.

It's stressful waiting to see if you get a financial aid grant and loans. I am such a procrastinator. I filled out the form before the priority deadline of July 28th but I should have gotten on the ball when I completed my taxes.

In good news I get more unemployment benefits! Ten weeks of $157 which is fine. And I am looking for a job. It's just hard to find one that even pays decent or who will work with my schedule. I am not traveling to west Knoxville on days that I do not have to go to school while I am in school. These part-time jobs don't pay enough and gas is just too much to have to drive thirty miles from home to west Knoxville. I'm already driving forty-one miles to school. Now if these jobs will pay me $10 bucks an hour to start, then we'll talk.

I have my wig for Dragon*Con. I have my costumes. I have my retro dress. I just have to get that postcard. Has anyone received theirs yet?

And my back is still giving me problems.

Oh God. I don't want to work on this art book! It'll be impossible to finish. Class doesn't end on Monday like I thought, it ends Thursday! x.x

At first it was just probation

I just got a letter from Pellissippi State saying that I was not making satisfactory academic progress.

I was suspended from receiving financial aid.

WTF?

I got 2 As, 1 B, and I only failed one class. I passed two thirds of the classes that I enrolled in.

Um. I need financial aid so that I can go to school. My loan won't be enough to cover both supplies and tuition for one semester. It was just going to be for supplies and to get a drafting table and stuff.

Oh God. This is bad. And they don't even tell me why I'm being put on suspension. It's just a letter stating what you have to do to maintain satisfactory records. According to this, I AM!

I was given an appeal letter. I just don't know what to say. "Hey. When I first attended eight years ago I was dumb and I wasn't receiving financial aid so I really don't think that it's fair that my grades from then are being used against me." Should I say that? What should I say? I don't know!!

Could it be because I haven't selected a major? I'm undecided at the moment.

I'm going to be e-mailing my instructors for a letter or something.
